Lochinvar Corporation in the United States has been designing, manufacturing and distributing water-heating products since 1919 and has built an enviable reputation for reliable, efficient and cost effective gas-fired water heaters and boilers.

In the UK, Lochinvar Limited is based in Banbury just off the M40 at Junction 11, ideally located to support its established products with a service record that is second-to-none. Area Sales Managers are based strategically throughout the UK, the head office staff cover: Technical Sales Support, After-sales Service, Accounts and General Administration.

Water heating equipment was first sold in the UK under the Lochinvar name in 1976. The ‘Knight’ and ‘Charger’ range of direct gas fired Storage Water Heaters were among the first of their type to be sold in this country and their popularity has continued to grow due to their suitability for the concept of System Separation and Decentralisation.

Following on from the success of 'Knight’ and ‘Charger’ range, Lochinvar introduced Copper-Fin^® water heaters and boilers in 1981. This range offers even better operating efficiencies, and additionally has ultra low NOx emissions. Water heater versions will operate scale-free, even in hard water areas.

Most recent additions to the Copper-Fin^® series are
Intelli-Fin^™, gas-fired condensing boilers or water heaters with a net thermal efficiency of up to 108%, and POWER-fin^®II, a range of high efficiency boilers and water heaters that are the perfect companion to Intelli-Fin™ on multi unit installations.

At the beginning of 2005, Lochinvar launched its Condensa and CP-M ranges of wall-hung condensing boilers. With outputs ranging from 23 to 180 kW these products offer an efficient, space-saving solution for a wide range of heating requirements.

All Lochinvar water heaters and boilers are designed and manufactured for the specific needs of the UK market and have CE mark and are WRAS (Water Research Advisory Service) listed.
